Anything going on in Chicago I don't know about? Here now and don't see any outdoor smokers or vapers and Walgreens. (really nowhere) caries any e-cigs. Is there a city-wide outdoor ban I don't know about?

No, no ban. It's up to individual establishments if they wish to exclude them. There are many places all around Chicagoland that allow indoor vaping. You can find cheap e-cigs at most convenience stores. True, you don't see a lot of people on the street with them, but I have a few times.
I live in Chicago and the Walgreens' around here sell cigarettes. No ban that I know of.
Awesome!!! It was really nice walking around downtown today (walked the Incredible Mile).. My friends say I brought the nice weather with me and when I go home on Thursday, not to take it with me! LOL
Oh, and thanks for the info- yeah, I learned today that I could vape at a bar I was at...the lady there (bartender) was interested in my Reo- evidently a smoker herself and one of the locals that patronizes that bar smokes an e-cig there all the time.
