I was very shocked at reading that a few drops of e juice with nicotine could kill a child. So, have there been any accidents where the kids have thought "ï'll have some of that yummy strawberry juice"? If so, what happened? I'm seriously considering cutting my 18mg bottles with glycerin now, if i can find it in the shops....then maybe only buying zero nic juice. I just started vaping 3 days ago so any information is still new to me.

thanks

I haven't heard of any problems with that.. could see how a child would think some juices smell yummy and want to drink them though. Personally its about smart parenting, if you have small children (or pets that get into everything) than one should keep something like a small one drawer filing cabinet near where they mostly vape and keep it locked up.. O nic and lowering nic strength is good but, won't help a lot of those in the beginning who are trying to quit smoking... just my thoughts..

I think a lot of parents will be excited to tell their children that e cigs are safe and isn't it great that mummy and daddy doesn't smoke anymore. Let's not forget that if they hear us talking about all those delicious flavors, they may be tempted to suck on one of those bottles. Yes, we have to keep them well away from the kids, we should also give them the impression that it still not a nice habit to have.
It is safer if they see us as smokers. Vaping should never be seen as safe to our children. IMO

thanks

IMO Its like any medicine u keep in your house. you keep meds out of reach of small children...same should be true of this. I don't worry so much with my 15 yr old (he's old enuff to know better I hope) but i've still told him that while I believe this is working for me to quit smoking it doesn't make it ok for him to START

I've heard of parents of small children and animals locking them up in a closet, better yet a safe.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

Keep them out of the reach of children, keep them locked up and teach your children......i wish they did this with patches and gum in our local drug store (Boots). They have them on the normal shelving within childrens reach,i wouldn't mind but they ain't even in child-proof containers, hence teach your children.

Ya, every once in a while you'll see something on the news about someone locking their small children in a closet or safe.

Might want to lock up the bottles o' nic juice instead. Just to avoid the media.

My plan is to somehow make sure that our 3yr old never even knows mommy or daddy smoked...lol. All of my vaping stuff will be locked away in a place far out of reach.
My wife and I are both moderate smokers, but we're both closet smokers...lol. Yeah, we're in our 30's and still keep our smoking from our families 'cause we're embarrassed I guess.

My son was about 3.5 years when the following conversation took place:

Me: Ready to go?
Son: You might wanna shower first.
Me: I just got out of the shower.
Son: Ya, but then you had a cigarette.

That was five years ago. Needless to say he's really stoked that mom and dad have quit smoking cigarettes.

NONO it's not the small ones that need to be locked away! When they turn 13 thats when u lock them in the basement with strict rations of bread and water. (breaks the spirit...no spirit no talking back, no inappropriate decision making...ETC....) It's all good LOL

Yep, then you let them out on a reprieve to graduate HS. Worked for my 20 yr old. Course doesn't help that I used to be a drill sergeant and run my kids and house like it. My 10 and 5 yr old are so used to it they think most mom's are like me. Shoot, my son still freaks out and runs in line when I yell out his full name and say Front and Center! hahahahahaha, I love it!

I know, mean momma! But, its so much fun!

Yeah, that's exactly the conversation I don't wanna have. Also, I don't want to influence her. My wife and I both enjoy smoking so much we wonder if our kids will be predisposed to it even if we don't expose them to it at all.
