Hey guys,

As I read the posts sometimes I come across references to China and the "cheap" rigs there or whatever.

My impression is that China invented the PVs; that virtually all manufacturing is there; that all the supplies come from there.

I wonder also, why aren't we making them here (in the US) and enjoying our own industry?

We can't compete price-wise with the Chinese; manufacturing costs are much higher in the US.

And if anyone did build a modern factory and invent automated high-speed equipment to make, for example, high quality atomizers, a lawyer would probably come along and sue them out of business. Or the FDA, EPA or other government agency would find something to hit them with.

    Somewhere between here and there
What Max says is true. We can't compete with their operating costs and they don't have the legal issues that we would here. I too see posts bashing china products and liquids and often think that without them, there wouldn't be e-cigarettes. People here in the US have come out with some fantastic mods and liquids over the past year or so and this is where I think we can excel. By the way, I still like some of the china liquids and use them every day.
