What do you guys think will happen in the future of this country? We have a huge national and personal debt that will never be resolved without concessions of our sovereignty, workers who aren't as cheap or hardworking as other nations', and an educational system that has left us in the bottom ranks of the industrial (and possible the third) world.... not to mention we're facing possible massive inflation if China dumps all their US reserves and a diminished military as we are bled dry in Afghanistan/Iraq and by our continued military bases and foreign aide programs (driving us deeper into debt) around the world.... I personally think our hegemony over the world is over and that China and the EU will come to the forefront as the next superpowers - however, I still don't know which side the U.S. will choose, since we have a strong relationship with both countries (and arguably a closer economic one with China) and when Europe is turning very anti-American in their foreign and economic policies (a lot of prominent Euro ;leaders have openly called for driving out American influence in Europe)....
