Chinese New Year question

I was just wondering if the Chinese New Year affect the stock of the online vendors? Should I stock up now?

it doesnt affect the stock but it will affect chinese vendors, many of them close down and do not ship or take orders during that time. most US vendors arent affected.

most of the better vendors know its coming and try to be prepared.

It shouldn't...but it can and does if your U.S. vendor isn't prepared. Last year some of the places I shopped with a lot got hung up and ran out of stock due to bad or insufficient planning. It can happen. If in doubt...stock up!

EDIT: Oh yeah...and if there is a stock issue with a vendor, it's possible to be hung up clear until mid March or even later! So be forewarned! I'm not saying it's common...but it CAN happen!
