Chinese takeover of the E-Cigarette News forum?

Do we really want to get a lot of our vaping news from a Chinese company? We get enough misinformation from our own governments. ECF has always been a place we could get real information on vaping, but now a Chinese company is taking over the E-Cigarette News forum. Right now, 70% of the threads on the first page of that forum were started by Vape Vision, a “vaping news outlet” in Shenzhen China. Since most companies in China are controlled to some extent by the communist Chinese government, can we really trust everything they post? Something needs to be done about this soon.

I agree. We already have plenty of news contributors from our own community who don’t have ties to the industry, and are not affiliated with Chinese distributors.

If you can show concrete proof that the site is associated with a specific manufacturer, by all means, forward that proof to the staff. We have already looked and find no links to a specific manufacturer or brand. Until such proof materializes, they're allowed to post on ECF.

Oh well, I don't have any concrete proof, so I'll just have to put Vape Vision on Ignore. If ECF wants to let the Chinese take over the E-Cigarette News forum, I don't have to watch.

Considering your devices most likely come from those very same people you're attempting to disparage, I'd suggest dialing back the attitude.
