I think Chocolate has some chemical in it that acts like some sort of drug, maybe a depressant, I'm not really sure. But in my experience, combining cigarettes with any kind of drug in the past causes cig cravings now when consuming that same drug. Just like how I crave a cigarette every time I drink.

That would be my best guess.

Actually, this makes sense. Chocolate activates the pleasure centers of your brain. Nicotine does the same. That's why part of the reason it's addictive, and a lot of people who are addicted to cigarettes have oral fixations as well. I'm going to assume it's the same when people drink. The raising hand to mouth action is part of our addiction. I'm willing to bet that the action of activating that pleasure center plus raising hand to mouth is enough to trigger your craving.

This is great, I thought I was going crazy but it happens every time I try to eat chocolate. I guess I will have to stay away from chocolate until I'm well over my analog addiction. I know that chocolate is loaded with caffeine but I drink coffee and it doesn't trigger the desire for a cigarette so I wasn't sure. Thanks everyone, nice to know I'm not crazy lol.
