OK, I'm sure I'm just being a silly newb, but I just made mud.

I got a sample of chocolate liquid last week, and it tasted very week, and not very chocolaty. I figured either the liquid is not so hot, or my taste buds. Either way, the solution seemed simple: just add a bit of chocolate flavor...

So I got some Lorann choc. flavoring. And I added one drop into this liquid. The smell of the flavoring was a tad suspicious to me - kind of like alcoholic powder, but I figured what do I know?

So in went one drop. I drip the stuff into my 510 - and taste... mud. Powdery mud, if you can imagine that.

I add another drop. (mind you, this is a 3 ml sampler). With a little trepidation, I drip and taste... More mud. Very, very alcoholy/powdery mud. With a lot of imagination I could possibly guess at a hint of chocolate... But it's still mud.

I want... chocolate! 8-o You know, the semi-sweet-creamy-deep-rich-indulgent-sinful CHOCOLATE!

Help? I'm in a craving hades here. I'm on a diet - I really can't be eating the stuff, I was *so* hoping to vape it. What am I doing wrong?

I got Krystal base from Intellicig, and now it's just sitting here waiting for me to figure out what to do... Is it the Lorann flavor that's not quite right? Or is it me that's not quite right in the head?

How do I make *good* chocolate?

Thanks, all. Any and all help appreciated.

Hi Briar, the Lorann chocolate is not up to par in my book. I too was unhappy with the Lorann chocolate taste. I use it as an undertone flavor now. The best chocolate you can get IMO is Capellas Double Chocolate! Double Chocolate
This is how chocolate should vape!
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Dan! :)

I'll order that soonest. Can you tell me how many drops of that particular flavoring added to 3 ml makes for good chocolate flavor? I think I read somewhere that Capella is not as strong as Lorann?

thanks,
Briar.

Typicaly if it is the only flavor I start with 10%,
20 drops = 1ml, so....
10% of 3ml = .3
.3 * 20 = 6
And then if weak I can add, I try not to go over 20% or in this case 12 drops.

I've tried Capella's Choc Fudge Brownie and it's really yummy too. I'm a Chocoholic si when I order my Capella's this week I'm ordering the Double Chocolate, Choc Fudge Brownie, and Milk Chocolate Toffee. Hopefully this will keep my chocolate urges covered and the 14 other flavors I'm ordering from them will hopefully cover everything else. I'm hoping that Peanut Butter Flavor plus Double Choc gives me Peanut Butter Cup and Double Choc plus Cool Mint gives me Peppermint Patty. The Choc Fudge Brownie is great with some Banana thrown in so I'll have to make some of that too. Good thing I'm also ordering a bunch of bottles because it looks like when my order comes I'll be in a mixing/tasting frenzy. :) If anyone else has any good chocolate (or other) mixes with Capella Drops let me know.
