Chocolate too thick for KR808D-1 carto's ?

Lately I have been using Johnson Creek fluids, (vg) and their dark chocolate fluid is 'quite thick' and doesn't vape up to standards. It sometimes takes some rapid fire puffing to get them fired off. Also on the ""exhale"" the vapor is light. It seems that is also true when I try any pg fluid, but that isn't my question.
I love the KR808D-1's for many reasons.

What can be used as a thinning agent before filling into the carto? Also is it possible the nature of the chocolate clogs things up?

You can use distilled water or vodka, just a few drops, to thin your ejuice safely. Try a small batch and experiment, but keep in mind that adding no-nic liquids will dilute the flavor and change the nic strength of your mix.

I also find that dark-colored, oily, buttery, and very sweet juices tend to clog the atomizers and cartos. All those additives (artificial coloring, flavoring, sucralose, oils) do not vaporize and just gunk up the coil and/or the filler. Try switching to lightly flavored, light-colored juices and see if that helps.

Yeah the thinner juices do work fine, and a black cherry seems to work well. I get it that the diluted fluids are weaker.
It seems only that dark chocolate is an issue. Starts up fine and deteriorates. The droplets are nearly 1/3 larger (as a guess) when eye-dropped in.
Thanks for the advice. I had thought alcohol of sorts. Vodka because it's clear and clean I guess eh?

I'm having that problem with my new favorite juice (TV-Tastyfinger). It seems to immediately carmelize on any cartomizer I use. I've tried V4L's Wow and Coolcart blanks, as well as Bloog max fusion blanks, so far. Can u recommend a better carto for this juice?

Honestly, no. Those dark, dessert-type, sweet and/or oily juices will clog your cartos and your atomizers faster than light-colored, barely flavored juices. If you love those flavors, you'll have to expect shorter life from your atomizers.

Having said that, I have used some dessert juices rather successfully with Boge 510 cartos (you'll need 3.0Ω for your kr808 batteries) and some 4081 cartos (SmokeStik or Good Prophets); they seem to be less densely stuffed with polyfill than the Boge kr808s, but you'll need an adapter (kr808>510 or kr8>4081, respectively). I'm don't know if you're willing to bother with adapters, though. If you want to stick with the kr808 cartos, you may want to try Boge kr808 3.0Ω (Liberty Flights and LiteCig carry them). I've also heard that Vapors Etc. carries kr808 cartos that have very little filler and are highly burn proof.

You may also ask at the Tasty Vapor subforum for recommendations. Those folks will tell you what they are using with their TV juices. Just a thought.

Hope this helps.

Thanks again Katya.
I'm close to running up to Johnson Creek (about 1 1/2 hours north) to talk to them about a variety of issues. Trying to set it up.

Their Dk Choc in VG is actually no sweeter than the VG is in itself. I have a feeling in this case it is just the cacao that loads up.

Please let us know what you find out. I have a feeling that it's just artificial coloring, not cocoa, that is added to those flavorings. The flavorings used in eliquids are formulated for human consumption, not inhaling, after all. I had a chocolate eliquid from VaporNine (some time ago) that was pale and transluscent, but tasted like any other dark colored chocolate juice.

It'll be some time yet, Katya.
I want to get some answers but I also have a business , and a possible proposition for them. Gotta get it locked down with an attorney first. Long story.

The only reason I suspect cacao is the taste is quite like Hersheys Cacao that you can buy in powder form. Since the fluid consistency is nearly twice as thick (droplet size) I suspect it's not just colorings. But don't know.
