I do not have any idea what to post about and do not want to be a spammer so ima just ask a question.
Anyone tried any of Kennedy rda or Velocity rda and which of the both you yall recommend. I might be getting both..
here are few thoughts:

  1. I would want to do huge cloud
  2. Taste of the juice doesnt really affect me
  3. I guess my biggest concern is to save as much juice as I can instead of burning them off fast
  4. The answer to (3) would probably be kennedy but I wana hear suggestion.
Thanks for reading

Hm.. If you're trying to "save as much juice" as possible, it doesn't seem effective to look for an RDA that really chucks the clouds. If you wanted to really vape as little juice as possible, an RTA with a 1 ohm+ build would be far more conservative than literally any RDA.

That aside, the Kennedy and the Velocity are two fairly different beasts. They're both appropriate for chasing clouds, but in my opinion, a device like the Mutation X is better suited for deep lung hits. The main difference between Kennedy/Velocity is the airflow situation. The Kennedy has bottom airflow, which many people think creates far more flavor. It requires you to align your coils above the airflow holes, and it takes some figuring out before you can successfully drip into the deck without potentially dripping down your airflow holes. The Velocity is a bit more "standard" in the sense that the airflow comes from the side. It has a lot of different things you can do to vary up the airflow which is nice, and will certainly help you fine-tune a flavorful/cloudy vape.

To be honest there are a lot of RDA's, many of which can recreate similar experiences. It comes down to personal preference and what you're looking to do with the RDA. Like I said above, there's a bit of a contradiction in terms of "I want huge clouds" yet "I want to save juice." But whatever, hope my post helps a bit.

Welcome to the forum.

I'll be interested to see what everyone says, I've been looking at the Velocity myself.

If you don't want to burn a lot of juice an RDA might not be the best choice in general. They do tend to eat through quite a bit.

I do know that RDA takes tons of juice, but what I meant by saving was to compare between the two rda and which one burn juice lesser. Well I didn't state that very clearly. Now im considering Velocity / Mutation X hmmm

The rate of juice consumption is dependent more on the build than the specific RDA. If you have a 1.5 ohm build in your RDA, and you're hitting it with relatively low wattages, it'll take longer to vaporize juice than, say, a .3 ohm build firing at 80W.

In the same sense, you could build two .5 ohm builds and depending on the wire gauge/wicking technique/number of wraps, one could eat juice faster than the other.

Hi and welcome to the board. I'm not really a dripper guy, so I'll let others take you through the fine points of those attys, but I will say I like my Dark Horse with the chuff cap. One thing I do know: cloud eats juice. There's no way to conserve it and make big vape. And if dloud is all you want, you don't care about flavor or nic or anything else, just hit straight VG. Cheap, too; a 150ml bottle is 4 bucks at Wally World in the pharmacy section.

Never tried the Kennedy, but I have 2 Velocity clones and it is the best RDA I have used to date. The design is perfect; from the dual posts (while still retaining 4 post holes), the way it captures the wire, the deep juice well and the infinite air flow options, it can really do just about anything.

The authentic is at Avid Vaper ($115), and while it is a great atty, RDA's shouldn't cost more than most of the devices we use them on. If you go the clone route, the Tobeco clone is the one you want. Their are others that range from awful to mediocre and not worth saving a few bucks, if that is even the case, most are priced around $20.

I second the above comments about the velocity. I just received mine today and wow his thing is amazing. Very very simple build and great flavor and clouds. Would love to see some builds from more experienced members. Is there a dedicated thread for this device? Couldn't find one. A search brought me to this one...
