I have to agree with the sampler pack idea. Someone who is just switching will have to try at least a few different juices before they find their "all day vape". I know it took me about 4 different tobacco flavors until I found mine. I smoked marlboro reds and finally settled on Boba's Bounty, and 555, both from Alien Visions (avejuice.com), as my "all day" vapes.

I would seriously recommend the samplers. Especially a Fruit Bowl, CoffeeShop, Mixed Berry, along with the TobaccoShop.

My first try at a flavor was a Cowboy. I switched immediately to a fruit flavor and never looked back. Everyone is different and our preconceptions sometimes lead us astray when making a switch to what is really an entirely NEW paradigm.

As important as flavor is strength. My first cart was a 36mg and it hurt so bad I almost quit right there. Then I popped on an 18mG and it was perfect. For someone smoking ultralights I wouldn't recommend over 8-11mg for starters.

I hate making individual recommendations on flavor....but everyone should know my personal fave is Wow Cafe Mocha. Has been going on 3-4 months now it seems!

New vapers always want an e-cig.."JUST LIKE" a cigarette and A Flavor "JUST LIKE" what they smoked. Not gonna happen. The ingredients are too different and the feeling and "smoke/vapor" is too different.
But, if they give a wide variety of flavors a try they will be blown away!
It's the die hard's like my husband who won't even touch anything except his one old tobacco flavor and complains that it isn't just right..that fail.

Get your friend to branch out and give the samplers a go.

I also agree with the sampler pack idea. I started out by looking for something to match what I had smoked before, and nothing that I've tried has even come close. But, as it turns out, that's a GOOD thing :) I have purchased some of the sampler packs and have tried so many yummy flavors that the tobacco ones don't even excite me that much anymore. As others have stated, one of the tobacco samplers and a coffee sampler would be an excellent starting point.

Hmmmmm.......what about ah..err....Samplers?:p Heed Wader's advice nic levels are really important so whatever your friend gets try at least 2 different nic levels. It may add a little to the up-front costs but finding the right level and first impressions are so important.

So Pixiekins.......you smoked greenies....might want to give Wow Nuport, Premium Smilin Special Menthol, and Wow Peppermint a shot. I never smoked greenies, but I sure like to vape them!
