That is a lower resistance carto, and will provide a warmer vape. It might provide a vape too harsh for you.

From experience, I found out that I prefer a cooler vape. I switched from dual coil cartos to single coil, and to 2.0 ohm to 2.5 ohm cartos on a fixed voltage battery. A standard or higher resistance carto will not cause your battery any harm at all. Too high resistance may limit the amount of vapor produced though.

Here is the safe vaping power chart that Jaysin was speaking of:

Also depends on WHAT you're putting on the battery - carto, clearo, what?

At lower resistance, the coil will get pretty hot. This means you need the coil to stay wet with juice. An atomizer or carto IMO is okay at low resistance. Many clearo's burn the wick at low resistance though(Kangers and Vivi's which are both decent clearo's).

So, with my C-twist at 3.2 to 3.6 volts, I was better with a clearo coil at or above 2.2 ohms to avoid/minimize burning. Can still burn if you let the wick get dry. I was very happy to upgrade to a carto/tank. Carto produces more vapor, allows lower resistance at higher voltages(warmer vape), doesn't burn, and the tank keeps the carto filled up so I can vape all day with one or 2 fill-ups.

Hope this helps.

Howdy,

Ooooh, this topic again....
M'k, given that your device outputs at prob. 3.7v then your going to sit at around 1.5 to 1.8 ohm single coil devices. Yes, I said single coil, I'll explain why....
I've had the unique pleasure of having a mechanical mod, I've wrapped both duel coil and single coil on my genisis...I've learned something by doing this.
Duty load and cycle, basically the duel coil will work but the duty load (amperage) will be at a higher draw draining your battery faster. Since most devices have a limiter on them they will not fire the coil at optimum levels (yes, I've killed a many battery).
You can easily figure out where you would want to be by this formula...Voltage times Voltage divided by Ohm's will give you wattage in heat. I enjoy around 6.0 watts where as this seems to be the best for not burning the liquid and providing the maximum vaporization of the liquid. Obviously a warmer vape would need a higher wattage of heat to produce a warmer vape but this may produce a different taste of the E-liquid.

Hope this helps out a bit.
