Chris' Blend from www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com
The juice: Chris' Blens was bottled on 8/15, 15mg nic, 70% pg, heat extracted option. A pipe blend NET described on the site as "Rich yet mild blend of Black Cavendish, Golden Virginias, and Turkish tobaccos create a wonderfully complex tobacco vape experience."
The Hardware: sterile rolled cotton wicked 1ohm micro coil with 28ga Kanthal, small rebuildable dripper; vaped on a mechanical mod.
Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best. (For sweetness 1 equals very dry and 5 equals very sweet. For tobacco impact 1 equals very mild tobacco and 5 equals very aggressive and/or complex.)
Sweetness: 3. Chris' Blend is one of the sweeter pipe NET offerings by NETcom. Maybe a little much for fans of drier vapes, but great for those that like a medium sweetness. I've heard people describe a caramel note in this juice and I can see it. The Black Cavendish provides a warm, round, and rich sweetness similar to what caramel provides.
Tobacco Impact: 3. Three tobaccos are involved in Chris' Blend, and they are play together in a pretty unique way. The Black Cavendish is most obvious, and provides the richness and is the main flavor note. The use of Black Cav is something original to NETcom, some will love it, and some like me aren't that big on it. The Virginias and Turkish create a backround flavor that is more of a familiar tobacco taste, leafy and a little cig-like, and they are enhanced at higher power. Together they combine into a medium complexity and a tobacco impact that is on the slightly milder side of medium.
Vapability: 3. Chris' blend has a pleasant level of sweet and tobacco that makes it easy to vape, and enough complexity to contemplate the flavor notes being offered. The taste to me is good but not great, so I don't really stick with it for very long.
Flavor Accuracy: 4.5. Pretty accurate description on the site, it is rich and a little mild, and the three tobaccos are all present. For me it would be better for the tobaccos to have equal impact, instead of the Black Cav taking lead.
Overall: 3. Well made and solid pipe NET offering by NETcom. As with Coventry, I like instead of love this juice probably because of the addition of Black Cavendish. People who enjoy the flavor it provides will get into these two juices more than me. It's a nice enough flavor for me to easily finish the bottle, just not a reorder.
