Chrome drip tip safe?

I heard something about chrome not being safe?
Is using a chrome drip tip not safe then?

Lol that is what I thought but I heard somewhere that chrome is not good for us or something.
Maybe it was brass, not positive lol.

its not good if it degrades, you see it flaking off or pitting toss it, otherwise about the only annoyance may be a metallic taste. i dont exactly recommend sucking on it all day either lol but just up against your lips should be ok.

personally i agree, who knows what grade they use as well, for this reason many go to glass, plastic or solid metals like stainless.

i use mainly titanium myself and it adds zero flavor of its own, with a couple SS thrown in.

Chrome tips are very dangerous if you use them when they are frozen to -30 degrees.

You have to remember to wipe them off frequently too. They get lip skin boogers.

Super fine chrome dust is carcinogenic, toxic and damages dna but chrome and chrome compounds(such as SS or kanthal) form a layer of chrome oxide on their surface which is harmless. Unless you're purposely grinding down the drip tip to snort it up you're nose, you're in no mortal danger
