First off, not sure if this is the right place or not, so if it needs to be moved, go ahead. :)

So, my girlfriend has had some chronic back pain issues for 2 years now, due to an injury at an old job. Since then she's been forced to be on workman's comp and has seen numerous doctors / chiropractors / orthopedics and has never met any real success with lessening or managing her pain much. It's just been something she's dealt with for the past 2 years.

She joined me on my PV switch a little over a week ago and has been off analogs for 8 full days now. Today, we visited her chiropractor for the first time since we quit.

To our surprise, the doctor exclaimed how, in all the time he's been seeing her, this is by far the least inflamed and swollen she's been, and the least amount of pain she's been in. He was beside himself in the vast improvement that even the last 8 days has made. It had never even occurred to us that her quitting would have any effect whatsoever on her back. In hindsight though, I'm sure at least one or two of the 4000+ chemicals in an analog sure could have been tinkering with some things back there.

No one likes seeing a 22 year old woman with chronic back pain. :(

This is the first time she's been smoke-free in over 8 years, and she says she feels like a new person, and hasn't felt this good in ages. It's an amazing thing, and I know her well enough to be able to say without a doubt that she would not have been able to quit if it wasn't for PVs.

So, has anyone else had any encounters with chronic pain and quitting?

My girlfriend is 20 and also suffers from chronic back pain. I just got her started on e-cigs recently so I'm interested to see if this helps her! This could be interesting heh

I certainly hope it does! We were so shocked to find how much this has helped in our situation. She's tried everything short of surgery and this is the first thing that's helped longer than 15 minutes.

I wish you guys all the best - let us know if it helps you out too!
