so me and my girlfriend have been analog free and vaping since 5/20

we had some issues with her adapting to PG but with increased water intake, and adding some VG. we have been doing find up until about a week ago

i had bought some of TV's blueberry cheesecake and immediately loved it
it was 24mg with 35% VG

delicious beyond compare but after a day of vaping it felt like i got slugged in the chest i have a deep knotting pain right dead center of my sternum

i shrugged it off for the first day not thinking much of it but the next day around noon and after vaping BC (blueberry cheesecake) since the morning it came back twice as bad as before

i called my girlfriend at work to ask her, and she had the same knotting pain i was experiancing

the only thing i connected it to was the BC liquid

so we stopped using it for the day and the pain subsided, but it is toooooo goood so i had to give it another go and still same pain came around after about 3-4 hours of vaping

i tried dilluting the liquid with some vanilla that i had witch BTW is awesome to mix!!!!

but still pain

i havent vaped it for 2 days and have tried two other TV flavors (german chocolate cake and tastyfinger same MG and VG/PG) all day and nothing, no pain at all

WHYYYY?? i want some freakin cheesecake!!!!!!

what would cause this??? and has anyone else experianced it before??

thank you for all the comments and input!!

If you're having problems with that particular liquid, then by all means, discontinue using it. And for other folks, because one person has a particular problem with a liquid, this is not to state that ALL people will have an equal reaction.

We all react differently to certain chemical components. There are some people who can't vape at all due to allergies the components used with e-liquids, sadly.

But let's hope that noone here takes an alarmist approach and make some fear-based assumption that our liquids are bad. Thousands of happy customers will be happy to prove this wrong, including myself.

To keep things as simple as possible, if you find you have a reaction to a particular liquid, DISCONTINUE USING IT!

Also, keep in mind that we're using components that were made for other things. Only recently have all of these flavorings and liquids been used for THIS particular purpose. In a lot of cases WE ARE the test group for these types of products. People will react differently to certain things. If you find yourself reacting to a particular liquid, by all means, let us know and also, stop using that flavor, no matter how good it tastes.

Well you could try a process of elimination. You know you're ok with liquid nic, so strike that one. You know you're ok with PG and VG (presuming you had the same percentage mix as previously), so thats another down.
You already enjoy TV juices so its not the supplier per se.
It might be blueberry flavorings - try blueberry flavoring on its own and see what happens (hey if it was me Id want to know lol).
It could be something in the cheesecake flavoring - not sure how'd you try that unless you can find one in a store.
It could also be unrelated to the juice and just a coincidence - if you guys live together it could be something you both ate/caught/drank - really there's a few 'other things' it might be. I get the feeling you want to vape the juice so perhaps trying to eliminate what it ISN'T might help discover what it is :)

I wouldnt worry Geoff about alarmists - the OP seems a fan of your juice and just wants to vape his current one lol.

I agree with CaptJay. This would be a good course to take. You really don't know what you could be allergic to. Or it might not be the juice at all. I do think it might be a good idea to check with a doctor to make sure nothing else is going on.

I do know that when I first started vaping, that I had a lot of stomach problems, including severe pain. It could have been any and all juices. It took awhile for this to go away. I almost thought I would have to give up vaping. I am certain it has nothing to do with the quality of TVs' juice. His is of the finest quality. I am using it right now. But maybe an ingredient maybe causing your problem. Then again it might not later on as your body adjusts.:)

but i dont wanna discontinue using it :(

just to clarify i am not bashing the liquid at all, or TV in any way, i wish i could drink the stuff, it is amazing

i am just wondering if this happened to be a issue that somone else has happened to experiance wether it be a particular juice or as capt jay suggested flavorings that may be a problem with both of us,
capt has a good idea and perhaps on the next order i will be placing with TV ill do some "do it yourselfs" and try the individual flavorings

and as far as other flavors we have tried, about a dozen from dekang 100%PG, tried some cocktail flavors that were a 50/50 PG/VG, and from TV the tabacco, german chocolate cake, tastyfinger and blueberry cheesecake, 35%vg

all that we have tried have been 24mg strength

again thank you all for your input and suggestions on where to start

and jeff thanks again for a great product!

Since this juice is so good, (It is, I have some and love it!) maybe you were vaping more of it than you usually vape? I'm wondering if it's a reaction to more nicotine or more PG/VG rather than a reaction to blueberry cheesecake. Just a thought...

While I really love the blueberry cheesecake, the strawberry cheesecake is even better. If it's a reaction to blueberry, you may still be able to vape the strawberry cheesecake.

Really near the mexican border.
a little OT but not really. I usually get a hiccups if I use alot of nicotine. Nicotine gum and lozenges both cause this and really strong cigarettes cause it and even e cigarettes cause it if I use too much nicotine in the juice or get a carto with too high of nicotine, for me.
So my solution is if I get the hiccups, stop using that one and either cut it down (if juice)or don't use the carto if that's it. But just because I have an issue with high nicotine doesn't mean my partner would or someone else would. Just like certain liquids, You may have problems with some liquids while I may not...it's all about your body....and what it can and cannot take....if You are getting Heartburn, then the nicotine may be too high and not be the flavoring.
