Today I was reusing an old gorilla bottle and I do quick steeps by microwaving water in a cup and get it boiling then putting the bottle in there for 3-4 minutes.. First and LAST time I do that with a gorilla bottle ahahah.. it didn't fail but it won't sit up straight now.. Gotta remember to use my glass 60mls for the quick steeps..

From Britannica.com: PET has become widely used in carbonated-beverage bottles and in jars for food processed at low temperatures. The low softening temperature of PET—approximately 70 °C (160 °F)—prevents it from being used as a container for hot foods. PET is the most widely recycled plastic.

All my VG/PG/Nic/Flavors are in a very cold fridge I've tested the temp of the juice being in boiling water and it gets to 135 degrees max which is where I heard the fast steeping is best at.. I did an A/B test on a fast steep to a 2 week steep on a complex tobacco recipe and they came out almost identical.. The shake and vape version is easily identifiable though.

Did you prepare the 2-week steep 2 weeks in advance? Because if you do both batches at the same time, the quick steep would be 2 weeks old anyway when you sample them.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Big fan of the scientific method.:D

I did the quick steep the same day as the 2 weeks was over on the first batch. Sorry if I wasn't complete in my answer.
