Chuck down! help!

This isn't a recent problem but....

The button on my chuck is acting up, worse now than when it originally started.

I can push the button and nothing happens! at all. not even a little sizzle. I have to press hard and I mean HARD. I have a bruise on both thumbs and index finger. I have tried the cleaning methods that are floating around but it isn't helping and I have no clue what else to do.

anyone else have or had this problem all advice would be greatly appreciated!

PM Jeff, I am guessing you might have to send it in. Hopefully you have some back up. One thing you might want to do, test your batts. After about a year of constant use, mine were in sad shape and needed replacement.

I actually don't have a back up gave it to my sister, hoping to get her off the analogs.
*sigh*

I will shoot Jeff a PM. Also, I checked the batteries and atty and they work, dunno what is going on with it. This isn't a recent problem though. Been happening for about a month and a half now.
