You got a pretty good supply of 510's. I have 2 or 3 but never really like the 510 that much. I guess I gave up on them when the batteries started to only last a half hour. I only have 6 801 attys. I've been using the same one for 3 months now on a VAPRE 51. Never burned one out. My main vape are that and 401 Dragons. I'm guessing with the Chuck I'll have to invest in a good supply of attys. Hope I don't burn to many out before I get the hang of it.

That is why I got some cartos. Almost everyone who has tried it says that the cartos work really well with the Chuck. I am hoping this is true..........

I'm guessing that my chuck is going to be here in the next day or two (SO EXCITED!)

Are there any things that would be good to know before I fire it up? I don't feel like frying it out, or breaking a switch, or popping an atty over some stupid user error...

Just checking...?

EDIT: I JUST CHECKED THE TRACKING NUMBER! IT LEFT MY LOCAL MAIL FACILITY THIS MORNING AND IS ON THE WAY TO MY HOUSE TODAY!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!

Just try not to break anything with it. When a Chuck comes in contact with anything, the Chuck usually wins. :p

I got my Chuck off the classifieds. Received it today. Getting the 510 atty to fire was hit or miss. I was unscrewing the atty, wiggling the atty, screwing it in tighter and it would intermittently fire. Turns out, as my Chuck was used, there was a lot of gummed up old juice in the adapter where the atty screws in. I cleaned the adapter with some Brasso and it hits hard each and every time now. Jeff pm'd me and said that the biggest problem he sees is the old juice gumming up the adapter and clients having to be told to clean the adapter with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Brasso worked good for me and removed a lot of the oxidation on the adapter.

Is there a way to prevent the oxidation from happening?

Noalox is supposed to stop oxidation, but I'm a little weary of putting on Noalox on the adapter threads as this is where the air comes into the atty. Noalox is applied and left on to prevent oxidation, Brasso is applied them wiped off. I think if Noalox is left on, you run the risk of inadvertently vaping some of it.

Oooh, you're gonna love the Chuck. Make sure you got plain old 3 volt batteries. I was waiting for my 3 volt batteries to come in & popped in two 3.7 volt batteries because I couldn't wait to use my Chuck. I just couldn't wait!

Fried my atty in about 2 or 3 uses HA HA :D

Is pretty sturdy but I wouldn't drop it down the stairs or anything.

Best tip--get a second Chuck. If yours kinks up & you have to send it in for repairs, nothing else is the same. I promise. Best mod for the money.

I'm a heavy user & I find 18mg juice is pleasant. I use 24mg after meals or when craving a cig. Though I find after more than one dripping of 24mg & I get light headed & a tiny bit nauseased. Of course afterward I won't crave a cigarette so it's all good.

Perfect for dripping. Really hard to refill on highway driving when there's no red lights. Best to keep a couple wet cartridges ready for interstate driving when you have no passenger to do your bidding.

Yeah, got the 3.0volts and it's fierce!!! I have a 5 volt Prodigy with a 510, and 6.0 volts is quite a bit more severe on the Chuck. Trying to figure out which of my juices taste better at 6.0 volts. So far my tobacco flavourings are doing better than my fruit or menthol flavours. Menthol tastes like crap at 6.0 volts IMHO. Kind of like gross peanut butter.....blech!! Menthol though on 5.0 volts is my favorite......weird.

I have some 18650's coming from Puresmoker along with a non-resistored switch housing for my Prodigy. Got 'em on their clearance sale. Then I'll get to try my Chuck at 3.7 and my Prodigy at 3.7. Also have a 510 - 801 adapter coming for my Chuck. Hopefully menthol at 6.0 volts on an 801 will be better. 510 seems a bit harsh at times on 6.0 volts.

Hopefully this helps the OP with some things to think about for his Chuck. There are so many different ways to configure your Chuck, you just have to find what works best for you and don't give up!!!!

I ordered my Chuck on Nov 30th and I still have not recieved it yet :(
However I was pretty picky on the customization. I would like to think he is taking his time to get it exactly right :)

You need to PM me your name. I am working on orders from Dec. 28th. and I don't have any stragglers.

I do have several incomplete orders I will be sending e-mails on in a few minutes. Mostly payments with no order e-mail.

Yep! love the 401 hecknaw chuck 1 of 2 jeff has made and the only one in U.S.A. i only use it with 18650 3.7v vape is great and warm ,flavors are always good, could not happier! atoms last a good long time a least a week or two. maybe not quite as long as atom's on stock e-cig battery.i also cut the tops off of my carts and put the stove pipe cart on the atomizer and direct drip 1 or two drops on atty for 5or 6 good puffs!! I will no dout order another Chuck and it will be (yuo guessed it!) another 401!! I have more than a few of these atty's and thay work fine on the Chuck!!!
