Chucks and flying....

So i just bought a Chuck,...and am planning on going on a vacation soon. Has anyone flown with theirs? Any recommendations on whether to carry-on or check it? What do y'all think? Id hate to have them take it away, and i dont want to be hassled.....thanks!

I took my Chuck to New York last month. It was in my carry-on bag along with extra batteries, atomizers and one small bottle of juice. I packed the battery chargers and extra juice in my check-in. Going through La Guardia on the way home, my carry-on came under extra scrutiny. The TSA agent stopped the belt and called over another agent. I was sure it was the Chuck, but nope, just some smoked mozzarella I was bringing home. No one said a word about my PV gear.
