Does anybody have more recent info, I am going to sandeago in march.

I flew Southwest at Christmas and had no problems. I kept my mods in my camera bag, and used a Bloog to stealth vape in my seat. I put my juice in a baggie and then placed it in the tray like they ask you to do with liquids. No one said a word. Happy traveling! :)

Just outside my comfort zone.
Thanks for the fast reply Peeps. Think I'll take a small ecig and pack my chucks just in case.

I fly extensively with 2 chucks and a small black neoprene bag filled with liquids atty's and batteries.
You must place your chuck in the TSA bins, so they can see it. Most TSA ask what it is, and state they have never seen an ecig that big. Leave your batteries in the chuck so you can demo the unit to them.

On board it is a different story.
Get a window seat on the side that your shirt pocket is on. If you are looking towards the cockpit that is the left side.
"A" seats are window seats.
Turn the air on, so it is blowing around your face. Close the window shade, to ensure no daylight infiltrates.
Once seated, lean towards the window and turn your head sideways towards the window, and press the chuck button 3 seconds before you take a puff.
Take a deep puff, but release the button before the puff is finished so as to clear the atty from any potential vapor that may escape.
Hold the puff in your lungs, and release it slowly using tight lips. There should be no vapor.
Obviously night flights are perfect for stealth vaping, but make sure the passenger next to you does not have a night light on.

Always make sure you have a small rag or kleenex with you. The fact that you are taking longer deep puffs less often, may lead to a wet shirt pocket. Blow your atty out often and make sure you have spare batteries.
As the batteries drain, the chance of a leak and excess liquid build up, increases considerably.

Up till now i have never been caught stealth vaping on planes. I get a certain exitement when i stealth vape...sort of "the getting away with it" factor.

If you have a cup of hot cup of cofee on the plane also take advantage of that...take a drag...place your lips to the cofee cup and exhale...people will think the cofee is really hot and giving off vapor.

Other than that, avoid discussions on a plane. Some people like to go on and on narrating their life story to you, and then as if that was not enough they will find some other topic of discussion. It's difficult to turn to the window anad vape whislt they are talking to you.

Make sure the passageway is free and clear of hostesses...you don't want to be holding the vapor in, and the air hostess asks you "cream and sugar?" or do you want ice in your drink?.
It happened to me once and I just looked at her with a ......ed smile but did not answer.

If nothing else works, take frequent trips to the lavatory. Sit down and vape towards the floor.

I've vaped on a plane with my Chuck a few times. I just wear a hoodie even if it isn't cold out, and put the sleeve over my hand (assuming I have a window seat, which I always do). Nobody can see anything, and I just hold the vapor in for a few seconds and it's gone.

I do the same thing at work - I don't hide my Chuck in my sleeve or anything, but I hold it in so I don't blow clouds of vapor all over the office.

I always worry when I put it in my carry-on, but I've never had any problems going through the metal detector or w/e it is. If you're really paranoid about it, just put it in the bin. They may ask you what it is, but they aren't going to throw you to the ground or anything.....assuming you don't look sketchy. :)

I've traveled back and fourth to Miami 6 times on 3 different airlines. Whether I check it in or carry on I always take the batteries out, leave the cap off and unscrew the atty. I've never even been questioned about it. I check in my ejuice as much as possible. Seems like they're always changing rules about liquids going through security.

Also, I have doubts that vapor would set off the bathroom smoke detectors on a plane. IDK Anyone tested it???
I know from experience that it will NOT set off the smoke detector in the lavatory. I didn't blow the vapor at the detector, but still it didn't. Basicly, if you don't act like an ..., there shouldn't be a problem.
