cigalike battery + carto question

I have been rocking cigalike batteries exclusively thus far (just ordered a Volt X2). Have mainly used carts and clears from company (v2) but purchased some blanks from a different vender. The blanks were 3.0 ohm resistance which made for a dry, almost powdery hit. I was wondering if the 3 ohm resistance carts are bad for the stick battery in any way?

Im not sure if they are bad per say but you really will need a low resistance carto to get any sort of vapour production.

1.5 or 2 ohm would be your best bet

3ohms is way too much, 1.7-2.0 with a Volt

I think the reason I went 3.0 is because I read somewhere that the V2 cartridges were 2.7 and didn't want to go less than that because I also read that going low resistance could ruin the battery.

Reading stuff is dangerous, huh?

I don't have volt yet. I'm talking the cigarette style batteries from v2. Auto.

You can go to the Smokeless Image supplier forum and ask what ohm is recommended for their batteries. It's been almost a year since I used them, but I seem to recall that they recommend 2.5 - 2.8 for their batteries, which is what they use in their Volt cartos.

I used the 3.0 ohm atty's back when The 901t cartridges were popular. Got away from the v2 thank heavens.
