I've used both the semi-auto from DE and the e-cigar from e-cig.com. The DE unit had a much easier draw (felt like sucking air through a straw), I prefered the e-cig.com unit. Both were useless with the cartridges but worked for dripping.
Out of the box, the e-cig.com cigars are hard to draw air through. They do "loosen up" after about a day. It helps to unscrew the LED cap a quarter turn or so to ease the airflow. I've been happy with the vapor, not so happy with the quality control. I've had units last a week and I've had them last a couple of months.
Some more insight into the e-cig.com cigar stuff...
First off... I highly recommend NOT ordering the entire cigar kit, it's not worth it. The charger is crap and they overcharge you for the
batteries. I got my batteries and charger from dealextreme, PM me if you're interested in details.
The only thing you need to order is the
inhaler and the
atomizer. You actually need the
LED lid as well, but these always seem to come with the atomizers. Order bunches of atomizers, they will fail.
Also of note:
e-cig.com seems to be having shipping issues right now, even for orders that don't contain batteries, cartridges or liquid (items prohibited from being shipped due to Olympics security concerns). Even under normal circumstances they are known to screw up orders and then shrug their shoulders when you complain. If you order from them, understand that there are order fulfillment risks you're taking. Use a credit card so you've got some recourse if they fail to deliver the goods (you can dispute charges with CC company).
