What is usual charge time for a dead battery?

You'll be a happy vaper in about 3 hours. I alternate between both Go-Go's (RY4 & 555) so they die within 15 minutes of each other. Then I return to the Elegant Easy and Elegant XXL during charge times. As soon as both Go-Go's are recharged ... I'm gone.

Glad that worked for you Terry. I hope this gets addressed in future builds cuz it seems like the type of "fix" that will/may wear itself out one day.

Make sure to pull lightly, don't twist and then screw the battery in JUST until the light changes color and stop. I find that doing this let's me get a few charges in before I might need to do it again.

I've been a faithful customer of Franks for almost 2 years. In fact, I think I was one of his very first customers! In any event, I have used the 808 since quitting smoking on April 9th 2009. I have been playing with the idea of getting a mod, and read this review. Im now seriously thinking about it. The one thing I noticed on the Go-Go is what appears to be a button. Am I to assume that this mod is a manual and not an automatic? If so, is there a choice? I dont like the manual 808's and so I dont think I want one in a mod. Please say it aint so! :(

I can't believe the difference in the Go-Go and the kr808.

I know I know! And the KR808/Gold Label cartos combo already had the bar up pretty high. Then the GO-Go/Go-carts showed up. It's been a couple of weeks now and I'm still wowed out. I mean I was the biggest Elegant XXL booster around. Bought them for Christmas gifts for my ex-smoker/happy vaper sister. I was depressed (small "d") to learn they were discontinued. But the first hit off the Go-Go rocked me back. This Was Different!

I'm very interested in getting a Go-Cart adapter for my KR808 batts. I need something great to vape while waiting for the Go-Go's to charge. Gotta get another Go-Go charger too so they can charge simultaneously. I'm going to follow les017's suggestion about making the draw a little less airy. That'll take me from 98% to 100% happy camper.

The one I got is indeed a manual battery. I didn't see where I had a choice to choose when I ordered but I would have chosen a manual anyway. I just like the control better. lol I see myself being a customer of Franks for many years to come as well.

Darn!!!! I REEEEAAALLLY dont like manual batts! I understand having the control. I guess Im just too damn lazy to push a button! LOL! Anyway, I'll lool into it more. As for Frank, he's a great guy and he's been very good to me. Hope your experience with CigEasy.com continues to be as good as mine!

I received mine today. It's amazing. You all are right, it's great every hit, flavor, TH, etc. Flavors pop. Easy fill.

I will have to cut back my dosing from 24mg. This thing is just too powerful and tasty, and I overdid it... Anyone point me in the right direction to thin my high nic juice down (I guess with PG)? I know I'll lose some flavor, but I have to start ordering 18mg or lower now...

I'm very satisfied with the Go-Go ; more raving from me later.

And I got my two sets today! :) Came in the same time as my order for the awesome Jr. Mints Daddy from Rich at nicvape.com. Filled a Go-cart with 80 drops of this stuff before a had a drip or two out the bottom, and it is crazy good!

It's exactly what all the reviews have been saying. I love my 808's but I think the flavor is considerably better in the Go-Go and the TH and vapor is as much as you want it to be. Thought it was going to take a while to get used to the button but I had it down in the first 5 hits. I hold the button for about half a second (the time it takes to get it from the table to my lips) and then drag for about 2 seconds, let go continue the drag for another second or so (light goes out on the button) and I'm go to go. Tons of vapor and a huge TH compared to the 808. I've heard the cutoff is around 8-10 seconds for you die-hards!!! ;)

Thanks for the review bobalex and thanks for the tip on the draw les017!

The only issue I've heard with these things so far is the battery/charger connection. Some people have said that they have to pull up on the center post of the battery to get it to charge, some people pull up on the center post of the charger. I looked at the charger real close and I'm thinking it's more the excess plastic around the socket where the battery screws into the charger (on the charger itself). I saw a post from greyrat where he sanded down the plastic flush with the metal ring in the charger which gave me the idea to get out a sharp knife and trim the excess plastic down flush with the top of the outside metal ring. My charger didn't go red after screwing down the battery until I removed this excess plastic.

Since I have two of these things I'll try to get pictures later tonight and post them up as it's a little hard to explain in words. But as soon as I got rid of that excess plastic I didn't have to screw it down hard at all to get it to connect. I'm thinking it may not be the center post(s) at all, but that outside bit of plastic that's keeping it from getting seated properly. Easy fix... either sand like greyrat, or *carefully* trim with a sharp knife like I did.

Rachus.... I know what you mean about cutting back the nic %. I normally couldn't handle more than 18mg with the 808.... now I'm finding I'll have to cut back even more. If you were ok with 24mg, just add two drops of 0% VG (or PG, your preference) to every 8 drops of 24mg juice and that will get you down to the 18-19mg level. I have not noticed it reducing the flavor all that much. I use VG because I've noticed 100% PG bothers me a bit. The VG also gives it a little more vapor and ads a little sweetness (to my tastes YMMV). I may have to get some flavor doubler or just add some flavoring since it looks like I'm going to have to go down to ~12mg or so with the Go-Go. My juices are 24-25mg so I'd be cutting them in half along with the flavor.

I'm very happy with this device. I was a little afraid of being an early adopter but after using the Go-Go for 8 hours now I can't imagine a better experience. Time will tell... :)

I have to say I had my doubts before I ordered the Go Go. Now I can't believe I waited so long. I've been a diehard bottom fed mod user for the ease and not having to carry a bunch of stuff around. Circumstances caused me to sell the two I had but I still wanted something that allowed me to continue vaping without the clutter. So after reading the glowing reviews about the Go Go and it's carto capacity, I decided to order one. All I have to say is wow. When the package arrived I sat right down and started filling a carto. I figured the reports of 100- 120 drops were slightly high. Nope! I started getting bored waiting for this massive carto to reach capacity. I reached 100 drops and it was pretty wet on top. So I sat it down for a few minutes, came back and proceeded to put another 10 drops in it. I decided that was enough for me and put it on the battery. Holy cow! This thing throws off tons of vapor and the taste was awesome. I actually coughed because of the difference in TH from the mods. I can see myself dropping the nic level very soon. I use 24mg, but I think 18mg would be perfect. For now I limit my hits to a few seconds. The draw is a little airy, but manageable, especially given the results. This thing is great and not overly big. About the size of a cigar but still fits nicely in my coat pocket. I have the same issues as everyone with the charger, but a quick wiggle with a toothpick fixes it. No big deal. I have put an order in for some of the LR cartos to give them a try. Anyone try them yet? Might have to drop the nic again with the LR cartos. Not a bad thing to do.

Thanks for the great reviews everyone. They were spot on and I cannot say how happy I am with this PV. If you're on the fence about trying one, do it. You won't be disappointed.
