Got in 4 eGo T atty's today. 2 from one vendor that I won't mention and 2 from Cignot. I also bought tanks from each. I tried the atty from the other vendor and thought it was on, but after 3 drags, the atty wasn't wicking enough and the vapor faded. If I dragged on it a couple of times without hitting the battery, the vapor would come back but it would fade off after a drag or two.
So I tried out the Cignot. I blew all the liquid out blowing from the battery end, loaded up a tank, gave it 4 or 5 primer puffs and it's on. I checked the wick position and the wicks are lower on the Cignots. Maybe the gals over there are setting the wick before they ship out. Not sure, but it's working great. I tried lowering the wick on the other one. I think it needs to go down just a tad bit more. They have the eGo-T logo on one side and Cignot on the other. They also threw in a free clear tank which was semi-loaded in the atty. It hadn't been pierced yet. Sweet.

i'm willing to entertain the idea that some vendors are sourcing more carefully or using some sort of QC internally (but checking the wicks? hard to believe. I also understand that cignot is offering a regular warranty on the Ego T atomizers.
Do you know if they have any restrictions a-on he warrranty? e.g. is wick placement covered. My tornadocig wicks all seem to be on the low side as i almost never have any dry hits or burning but lots of flooding and leaking.

Vicky posted a video on how to adjust the wick position. If you can find the right tool for the job, it looks like it would be simple enough to do.

As to internal QC on the attys - I doubt it. The attys I got from cignot are all sealed in cellophane wrappers. Unless she has the equipment to heat seal cellophane and make wrappers to custom sizes, I have to think it isn't very likely cignot is inspecting every ego-t atty.

I do think it's probable that Joye is 1) Doing a better job of QC on these *and* 2) Joye's workers are getting better at assembling them. I tend to believe the old cliche' 'Practice Makes perfect'.

i saw the video but i can't see the wick (well i do see the puncture tip and something kind of black in there--but as to what tool i think i might need to get first --a magnifying glass ...i did email cignot to see if they had any other more specific advice (they mention in the warranty that they will "provide guidance" on how to fix this issue)

No clue as to why some people seem to get better attys than others. I got mine from Cignot as well. Although they work well for me I have no attys from other vendors to compare to. Speaking of eGo attys and Cignot, they just got some LR tank attys. Ordered mine today, can't wait to try them. Speaking of ordering, about ten minutes after I ordered, I got a shipped conformation e-mail, as usual. Cool. No, I do not work for Cignot. I just love them. Something to do with not drinking tea or playing monopoly...

I ordered two full kits from Cignot and both are still going fine. I did order another atty from the Hawaii place, and from the beginning, that one has been a little off. Hard to draw, sometimes burnt flavor, etc.

I did just order a couple more attys from another place, we will see how those work out. I would love to only order from Cignot but at 50% more for many things, I just can't do it.
