Hey Gang,

Well, it appears there are quite a few of us in the tri-state and I for one, would be very keen on getting to meet some of you in person and talking gear, juices, and vape tips. Since we still are waiting for a true Brick & Mortar store to open up, what's the likelihood of us setting something up once a month to get together and do the community thing?

I'm sure that finding a venue will be tough with all the anti-smoking ordinances in effect, but personally I'd preferthe neutral ground route instead of being hosted by a vendor.... Less likely to spend a bunch of money that way...lol.

anyone have any ideas on how we can get the ball rolling? Getting really tired of waiting for a store, and the social scene to take root around here.

Oh, and no....I don't want to drive to Dayton, Columbus, Lexington, or Louisville to attend another group's meeting. There are lots of us here in town and we should concentrate our efforts here at home. Driving sucks and it's expensive....I'd rather buy juice instead of gas. Haha!

Sounds good. No ideas on a location, or what establishments would welcome a small social group of vapors.

Once Alsmoke opens their lounge that would seem to be an ideal setting for a meet where open vaping would be allowed, but that could still be a month off. I did see on the Altsmoke site Rob saying something about a lease signing and being on the phone with construction contractors, so that's a good sign.

I'm thinking Newport would be a decent place to look, since Campbell Co. KY still allows smoking inside afaik. Pretty much everywhere in Hamilton Co. and the whole state of OH is smoke free now isn't it? Maybe somewhere close to the Levy and all it's good bars and eateries.... Heck, worst case scenario would be the VFW hall next to the Party Source.

It just feels like we're out in the cold like a bunch of step-children living in this closed minded city. One day, I hope to move away from here and never look back. Only hing for me here is Reds baseball. (And some family of course, but I could deal with not seeing them too often....hahaha)
