Ok, I haven't been vaping for long, but I'm already a VaporBomb fan boy, so this is not a complaint post.
Of all the flavors I've tried so far, Cinna-Bomb has been my favorite. A previous order of Cinna-Bomb was 20% VG / 80% PG at 12 mg nic. It was yummy the day it arrived. They also sent me another bottle of the same the next week due to some leakage during shipment. The replacement, too, was yummy the day it arrived. (Hell yes, I vaped the Cinna-Bomb from the bottle that had leaked. Waste not, want not)
My last order, shipped on Jan. 10, 2011 was two 30 mL bottles, both 0 mg nic and 80% VG / 20% PG. My goal was to have a flavorful juice I could chain vape without poisoning myself and lots of vapor to play with. Well, since it arrived on the 15th, I haven't been able to get any flavor from either bottle. I try a few drops from each bottle every evening. Lots of vapor, but almost no flavor.
I wasn't too concerned at first. I know that when you go heavy on the VG, it reduces throat hit and affects some flavors. I figure the mix masters at VaporBomb know their trade and compensated for it and this batch just needed some time to steep. No big deal.
Well if it shipped on the 10th and today is the 19th, this batch is at least 9 days old. Right? I dripped some tonight from both bottles and still no flavor, lots of vapor. A couple of times, I thought I was tasting butter, but chalked that up to my taste buds adjusting to being analog-free. Today was day 11 since my last smoke, btw. Also, I notice a lot of tiny white flakes suspended in the juice and after a good shake, the juice is very cloudy. This didn't happen with my previous bottles. Again, I'm not too concerned because I realize I ordered a recipe with mostly VG and zero nicotine, so if it looks different and pours different, that's probably because it is different. I could even deal with variations in flavor, but no flavor or a faint taste of butter?
I'm still hoping this batch just needs more time to steep. I don't have enough experience with juice to say this is the case for sure.
So I'm asking the veterans here, does it just need more time before the flavor "matures?" If so, how long? Another week? Longer?
In case it matters, I'm storing the bottles in a cabinet on my computer desk. Room temperature, in the dark.
If anyone can help me solve this mystery, I'd be appreciative. Otherwise, I guess time will tell.
Cheers!
