Hello to all, I am new here and new to vaping about two months in. I have a lot of questions so I decided to start with this one.

I have read several times about cinnamon and vanilla flavor e-liquids being bad for you. It seems that cinnamon is the one that is mentioned the most. Could someone with experience and knowledge explain this? I only own four flavors at the moment and cinnamon is one of them. I have only vaped it once so far and I like the taste but want to know if there is a reason I shouldn't before I continue.

Thank you.

Cinnamon is a bit harsh on plastic tanks and depending on the concentration, known to gunk coils faster than clear liquids. As far as being bad for you, I would hope not. I've been using a lot of NT's bakery juices and if they are "bad" for you then a whole bunch of folks are in the same boat as me. Vape on!

Anything in moderation is not likely to cause any harm. Cinnamon and some citrus flavors can react with the clear plastic (polycarbonate) that most clearomizers are made of.

Something Safe for Cinnamon & Citrus Flavors

A certain ingredient sometimes found in e-liquid flavors, called diacetyl is known to cause "popcorn lung", an incurable lung disorder. Many of the butterscotch, buttery, and creamy flavors have had this in their ingredients; many e-liquid vendors have voluntarily stopped using this chemical, while others have not.
