I don't like the fact that you can't use a disposable email addy. Why is it so important that they know my real email address? It's just a "social network", so why does it matter? Big turn off for me...................
I have no idea what you mean. You can use any valid e-mail address to register.

A disposable email addy is just what it says. It is an email address you can use without having to "sign up" for it. Usually, emails sent to that type of addy are only available on the server for about an hour. Hence, disposable. If 2 people log in with the same name, well, they will both get to see emails sent to each other.

With everything going on in the world and "Big Brother" always looking over your shoulder, I love these kinds of email addresses. Also keeps spam out of your real email.

Example of disposible email: GuerrillaMail.com

So, with all that said, why would an ecig social network not allow use of such an email?

Thanks for the explanation. The network doesn't allow these types of e-mail addresses because once you sign up you have to click a link in your e-mail in order for your membership to be active. I have no control over that, that's the way ning has it set up. But I am the only one that can send out any sort of e-mails to members which I never do and you also have the option once you sign up to never receive e-mails from vapersplace if you so desire.

It's all good.:D
I will tell you though, as long as you "check" your email within the allotted time frame, you can access any links in any email. They just disappear after the 60 minutes. So, if one were to use an email like they, they would still be able to activate their membership with the link provided. I'm just saying. I also understand that you are the one that sends out the email and all that good stuff, I just don't feel comfortable with that whole thing. Call me nutty, but the government can, and DOES track us, and I don't give them any info about me and my habits or who I'm associating with or their habits.;)
But like it has been said in an earlier post. It does look pretty cool.
