Go read some GoodNews posts, you'll learn quickly that his entire vape budget is under $20. So unless he finds some of the vendors who he has previously bad mouthed to give him high-end stuff the only reviews your going to see are from a malfunctioning twist type battery and $3.00 clearo's.

I think the intolerance towards Goodnews! is far worse than his ramblings. I'd rather read 100 Goodnews! posts, than a lot of the intolerant small-mindedness that I see everyday (not here specifically, just in general). Dude has every right to post whatever he wants - unless it's a personal attack, or drug talk, or whatever other limits the Mods set. Kudos to him for posting - for posting long winded "reviews", and for just being kinda weird. "Weird" is good sometimes. I spent a lot of my life being "weird". Without "weirdness", this world would be boring.

agreed, but how often do you solicit advice then tell everyone they are wrong and that you know everything there is to know?

telling me you dont agree with my opinion is fine, telling me that after 2 years and several 1000 dollars spent trying devices that my experiences dont means squat is insulting.

when you come here and solicit advice then brush people off saying their knowledge and experience is inferior then accuse people of secretly being vendors when they dont agree with you, your going to get flak.

Personally, I found the post on draw techniques highly entertaining. I won't say I agree with his assessment but his descriptiveness in that post was fantastic.

To the OP: Have you considered that the problems you have had with various devices might be because you are vaping 100% vg juice? These juices do tend to be thicker so because of the viscosity they don't wick the same way a vg/pg mix would. To me, everything you've ever mentioned as a problem in any of the threads you've started smacks of not understanding how viscosity affects wicking. I would suggest doing some research on that.

I dunno. I guess I just wouldn't let it bother me.

Example: I'm in IT. This EXACT type of scenario happens all the time. People ask advice, then you go through a whole long drawn-out explanation filled with experienced suggestions, and what do they do? Whatever they want. They go buy an underpowered tower server, when they need a rack system with a UPS, a storage array, and some kind of backup unit (NAS, or a spare server, or something). Then they complain when it doesn't "do anything".

Still, as far as Goodnews! is concerned, maybe that's just his personality. Maybe it's a front to his disappointment in his experience so far. Maybe he's just messing with you. I don't know. Whatever it is, don't get offended - just play along.

I don't know. In regards to rule number 8, I think I gotta bow out of these. I've given honest opinions, laughed, cried, gotten angry...repeatedly. What else is there to say? I feel like I've made some new friends in these threads though! We need some kind of group where we can hang out and review the reviewers...and what not.

I became intolerant of this reviewer in particular not because of his content-less review (another GN rant about how the entire vaping industry world wide is conspiring against him) but because the way he went Ted Kaczynski on another poster for asking some very simple and basic questions. He came on here and told everyone on his very first post that he was starting a review series then post after post he has the most basic of problems yet refuses to listen to anyone when help is offered. He'll make one post professing his superior intellect and level of testing in his reviews then the next day he'll post a question that leads some to believe this guy has never picked up an atomizer before. Then some nice person will offer some advice only to be told they don't know what they're talking about because he knows more.

Just some very simple math using his numbers he's trying to vape somewhere between 3 and 5.5 watts. How he even gets vapor at those numbers is as mysterious as his "trusted" review techniques.

FWIW I just wrapped up a 2.8 ohm coil and ran it on a mechanical mod with a battery reading 3.8 volts (5.1 watts) It took almost 10 seconds on the button to begin to see vapor and no amount of holding the button got what I would consider decent vapor. Yup, that would cause a coil to gunk up in just a few minutes of use.

Well I did just manage to get the nasty, burnt, wicky vape but I didn't manage it on a $3.00 clearo and $19 twist. I managed to find that elusive combination on a Steam Turbine and Nemesis mod. (I forgot to put juice back in the tank and vaped raw stainless mesh at .6 ohms and it was good! but now I can't breath.)

Dang clones I tell you, if I had just spent the cash for the real deals that would have never happened!! Now I have to go start a thread and trash Fasttech for selling me a bad atty and mod then complain because they won't ship me free ones because it wasn't anything I did wrong.
