Citric acid for flavor preservation?

I am going to start using citric acid for flavor preservation. I am not interested in lemon juice, just citric acid, and or malic acid if it can be used to preserve flavors as well.
I was wondering if someone could go over the proper use of citric acid in e juice.
What is a standard dilution? And at what percentage of that dilution would go into a mix to preserve flavor?
Would you add Citric acid to all juice? or just the flavors that fade or need a little something extra?

Thanks,
Mike

Stay away from plastic clearomizers and tanks when using citric acid its a known tank cracker. Id recommend Pyrex like a Phiniac, Valley View Vapes or Ibtanked tank or a Kanger Protank if you want to go that route.

Besides cracking tanks....I had a melon flavored juice with a high concentration of citric acid crack a very expensive Prive tank in under 3 minutes....it literally spiderwebbed until it looked like crackle glass, citric acid can actually cause some plastics to leech chemicals into your juice as well.

I have found nothing that on its own will preserve a flavor. I avoidex citric acid because the convos I always remembered seeing seemed to suggest that it simply is used to brighten up fruit and drink type mixes flavor wise. As a preservative I think it would have little effect as all juices change over time.

If it helps any, Ive completely eliminated using lemon juice in all my fruit and drink mixes because after testing the same juices over a three month period (same ones with and without lemon juice) lemon actually muted flavor signifigantly... and my taste buds are spot on. Others have different results and will say Im definitely wrong but I spent quite a time testing results on my juices. For me I noticed signifigant muting of flavor even after one week with lemon juice in my mixes. The ones without it held up better. For the first three days tho the lemon juice ones were better. After that... nope. They just got worse.
