32g is a good place to start for wire to clapton around your main wire but failing that you could use your 28g on 28g for eg, but as said by Marc your first stop is YouTube and then have a little play to see what you like, i like fused clapton's containing 2x 24g n80 @ 2.5mm id 4 wraps which is hot but i run mechs :)

Hi I'm wanting to build a clampton coil for my turbo rda on my snow wolf I have the following wire kanthal 28, 24, 22, and 20. Nichrome 24. Nickel 28. I want the biggest cloud possible I'm really thinking clampton but just seeing if anyone one has any other ideas (what wire to use, size of diamenter) comment even if not a clampton thanks
If you want to work with what you got at the moment, go for 24g Nichrome core with a 28g wrap. Claptons are great flavor coils. But if you want to start wrapping Claptons in the turbo I don't know if 24/28g duals would fit. As for coil ID, I always go with a 2.5mm, it takes about 1.5 more wraps to achieve a certain ohm level than a 3mm ID coil. Which is better in a way because it increases the surface area, and more surface area = more clouds. I suggest you invest in some 26g, 30g, & 32g. With Claptons, the wrap itself doesn't carry much of a current. The ohms are determined mostly by the core wire, which is one of the reasons why it's better to use a higher gauge wrap. Another is because the thinner you go on your wrap, the more juice pockets you create. I know none of this probably makes sense. I just woke up really, but Slippy can attest that I know what I'm saying..sort of lol
