Clapton coil in TC mode?

I am using the traditional 0.5ohm EUC universial clapton coil by vaporesso. The recommend wattage is 35W to 40W. I'm wondering if I can use it in temperature control mode.

To my knowledge those are not for use in temp control. There are 2 316L SS ceramic EUC coils that will work in TC
