So, I've read and reviewed the rules and regulations regarding the classified section on here, and I know that there is supposed to be a 20 post requirement, but I was curious as to whether there was some type of "pass" for being a member for 4+ years? I've only recently started buying things used as money is tighter than I've had it be for years, so for the first time I'm really looking for any and all vaping classifieds I can find.

bottom line is ... you need to be verified ... there is no "pass" such as the one you are looking for.
It isn't hard to get 20 posts, it would only take me a few hours.
Yeah, a lot of people are like that. I'm simply not the social type. I'm working on the 20 now, I just had to ask as I generally only post on a forum if there hasn't been a response already, as there is no need to reiterate an already made point in my mind. Plus I am not a social person, and the people on this forum are so quick to help that I usually don't get the chance to respond first to anything. The forum I have the most posts on I've been a member for now going on 12 years. Over there I'm up to a bit over 200.

IMO ... 7 posts in 4 years is hardly being an active member here on ECF.
I in no shape form or fashion wanted to bypass the verification process. I had hoped to simply bypass the post requirement portion. I visit this forum multiple times per week and have done so since I moved full time from analogs to electronics back on April 10th of 2009. I come on forums to gather information, and provide information when others fail to do so. If information on a requested subject has already been provided then there's nothing for me to say. I don't go online to make friends or socialize, and I most definitely don't have the time to sit and comb through everything to put my .02 in on every other thread. I'm sorry if my post offended you as you seem to have taken an adversarial position in this thread.
This isn't any exception. The people who keep this thing running aren't paid. As volunteers, member Joker has a hard enough time having a real life and keeping up with member Verification submissions at the same time. Any submission to become verified before the 20 post minimum is reached is automatically rejected, so there is no point it trying to process it before then.
an easy way to gather required posts is to help some newbies in the new member area.
just a thought, seems you know quite a bit on the subject of vaping.

I did the Paypal thing, added a new e-mail to match my e-mail on here, made it the default, pressed da button on ECF at the bottom of the Paypal thing.

I don't think you missed anything. It has been a while since I got verified but it wasn't difficult at all(on the forum).
The person how verifies does this in whatever spare time he has, and being close to the holidays, I think we all have less time. Don't worry, if you aren't in a hurry I would just wait.
addl' info. The regs say it can take up to 5 business days. Unless your verification fails, you will not receive any notification other than it shows up under your username.

Is the classified section pretty active? I'd like to check it out, but haven't used Paypal in forever and while I see the great value in verifying people, for me it seems like a lot of hoops to jump through since I don't know if I'd ever actually buy anything listed and I am 100% sure I won't be selling, because I keep all my precious vaping equipment.
