Hey guys,

I have 2 attys that i use in a spare 306Joye. Not sure what model number they are, maybe 401 atty? not sure, anyway. I put them 1 part white vinegar, 1 part water and mixed them around for about 10 min, blew through them for about 5 min to all moisture was clear, and then let them stay upside down - wick down for 24 hours, i tried both this morning and nothing, just 1/100th of vapor i was getting. I even primed and then i decided to direct drip, and even primed some more, i can't get these attys to perform correctly. they are getting hot, and i do see the heating coil light up, but i'm not getting same production. Did i ruin these bad-boys?

Btw, was using new battery, and also used passthru just to make sure i was getting enough voltage to the atty.

here are some pics.

any ideas on how to bring these back to life?

it almost sounds as if they where still moist inside..

try taking a blow dryer to them for a bit.. or dip in grain alcohol and then let them dry..

also is the coil glowing fast.. as in nice glow within 2 seconds.. if not try repeated dry burns with cool offs until the coil glows fast

Hi, they might have been still moist, i waited about 15 hours to be exact. I then put some drops on both of them and took some hits, no vape, or very little vape, and the coil turns red right away, about 2 seconds...so should i rinse and repeat again and let it dry again?

If you have any cart condoms(silicone covers) throw one of the atties in one and fill with juice of choice, let it sit for a minute or two. Pull out, shake out and try vaping again.Sometimes mine are slow to fire up after cleaning. BTW, putting an acid in with 2 different metals usually is not recommended . Can create electrolysis, corrosion, erosion of plating etc.
Vinegar may be good for cleaning out a coffee pot but I don't think its a good cleaning compound for electrical contacts(solder joints) or wiring in general. bikes

what i found was a good fix for this, was i put about 8-9 slow drops of vg based eliq, I usually only use 4-5 drops when vaping, and i gave the atty a 10 second burn and that gave it it's life back. I think it was so dry, that the few drops of primer i thought i was giving it, probably didnt even cover 30% of the mesh around the wick bridge. I'm not saying you need to completely clog it, but i'm saying the first time after cleaning , it seems it needs some good amount of juice to jump start it's vape creation.
