I use bridgeless/wickless. Put in a vinegar/water solution for 30 min. and hot water rinse. I have three of them. 3 drops, 6 pulls. No work.

What is the ratio of vinegar to water that you use?

My vape shop said to use hot water. But I don't think it cleans it well enough. I'm still confused about the dry burn. Do I add a drop of e juice to the wick first? I live in Hawaii and it takes forever to dry out the wicks. I suppose a blow dryer could help with that.

The procedure I'm doing is for a metal mesh, dripping atomizer. The whole thing is made of metal and a small insulator at the battery connection. Not sure what to do to clean cotton or silica wicks.

skooze48 ...... Assuming you are NOT using cotton, dry burning would not involve a drop of juice. What you are trying to do is heat the coil and wick up enough to burn off or burn up yuk that has accumulated or to clean up a new wick and coil. It is best to pulse your power source in other words rhythmically (sp?) push and release the switch to get the coil red hot. It's sort of hard to explain it exactly. Give it a try and you will work out your own way that works for you. I have a tiny brush I'll use to carefully clean off the coil after it has cooled down. There sometimes a little ash left after dry burning. Hope this helps...
