So I cleaned my two 510 bridgeless attys that I have. Soaked them in cheap vodka like I do with all my other stuff to clean it. And now they don't produce any vapor! Did I do something wrong? Is vodka bad to clean them with? Help. I just got them to be able to sample juices. Feeling newb status here :/

I use the same ones to test my DIY juices and also use cheap vodka to clean. Dry burn, as said, gently, short bursts, until cleared. Not had an issue with mine at all.

It does take longer to dry burn than other heads, I've noticed. You can't do it as quickly. Try taking the time to dry burn and see if it makes a difference.

let them completely dry then try again. this should take maybe 24 hours. if you have an ohm meter see if there is resistance on them. If you dont have one youll just be guessing. If you have a device that reads ohms see what they are reading. Soaking in vodka should have no effect on them as in damaging the atty at all.

I use baking soda and vinegar to clean my bridgeless attys.

I loosely fill the atty with baking soda then drip a couple drops of vinegar on the baking soda and cover with my finger then repeat until the baking soda is gone. The vinegar and baking soda produce a reaction the causes pressure to build, by holding your finger over the top of the atty it force the vinegar baking soda solution out the bottom of the atty. Once all the baking soda is I rinse with hot tap water and let dry over night.

This removes all but the strongest flavors. My current attys are close to a year old and still running.

Thanks everyone! 1 of the attys had been cleaned two days ago and was def dry. The other one I just cleaned tonight. Didn't think to try dry burning them. Will try that and see what happens :)

Where they working the last time you used them? Or did they go dead while in use? If they stopped working while in use chances are the coil popped.

Do you have either an APV with a ohm checking function or a meter to see if they are still showing resistance?
