Cleaning Cartomizers?

All you need to do is hold cart with pliers or something under running hot water blow it out and let dry.

My wife has a kr808d-1 and i have done this several times for her no need for vodka or anything else

I put 2 pans of water on to boil in one I use some of my clean dish water that has a bit of bleach and dish soap, ( About 2 capfuls of bleach to a whole sink or water) and one plain clean water. I take a small container , a small strainer and a spoon, Boil the water turn off and then clean cartos.
I put my cartos in the small container pour in some soapywater swirls with sppoon for a bit rinse in sieve repeat with clean boiling hot water, then soapy then clean till it is all gone then I run them under warm water of faucet for a few seconds each, strain, then take a bit of paper towel and twist it up and stick it in end after 5 mins they are all dry, clean and I have no previos flavor! Not sure if soapy/ bleach water is safe but it kills germs from letting people (borrow) and I dont have to worry about vaping any residue as I rinse this all out well!

Oh no... I'd stay away from bleach... Anything you can not ingest, isn't such a great idea to put in your atty or cart.

Personally I tend to vape mine till there is no bringing them back, but I have found a bath in boiling water followed by a dip in the sonic cleaner filled with rubbing alcohol for about an hour will bring about any carto back to life. If it weren't a sin I guess I could use shine, but what a waste.

I've been boiling mine, I set them mouthpiece down, with the rubber mouthpiece removed and bring the water to a medium boil for 15-20 min. Rolling boil will knock them over and I'm afraid it might damage the atomizer, but litte bubbling boil has worked very good for me on about 100 cartos. I spin dry them using reverse Taryn spin and they're ready to be refilled right away.

My humble two cents...Atari, You disrupt NOTHING. Too many rules and regulations, what to post, when not to post, what thread to post in, who banter with, who not to be friends with, etc, etc, etc. The only rule is to be nice and respectful of others. Forums are supposed to be fun and I for one think the V4L forum is fun! The posting police need to go get a donut. Post on and vape on! These threads, though old are educational for some of us.

I use one religiously and it makes a huge difference, Im still a little nervous about OVER use of it but it works great for me

And yeah you cant beat a good throwback
