Cleaning CE4 clearomizer a fail!

So my first attempt at cleaning my CE4 clearo was a fail

I cleaned it with water and pat it dry, but then about an hour later when I tried to use it, it hardly made noise and I got NO inhale or vapor. I tossed it and luckily had a back up, but I would really like to be able to clean them rather than replace them every time mine .... up.

Help, please?

how are you cleaning it? with those I would take a paperclip bent on end. carefully pull the silicone cup out, fill with hot water,cover top and bottom with finger and thumb, shake, dump and repeat. shake water out of it like a thermometer shake. do dry burn and carefully replace the silicone cup.

I filled it with water and emptied it out and pat dried it, let it air dry for about an hour too... I'm a total noob when it comes to this ~ LOL

It's going to take at least 24 hours to dry enough to reuse. Even after 24 hours you may not get a lot of vapor or flavor for a while but it will come back.

I tried cleaning and dry burning mine and the coil burned out but I think it was going bad anyway. I'm looking to replace the wick and coil or replace the tank itself. Not sure which is cheaper and/or easier. Doing searches now.

Well, one of my favorite subject, of which I just posted in another thread. All I do is get really HOT tap water in a smaller plastic container with lid. Drop it all in, all 2 pieces, shake-shake-shake. Drain out the water, put new water in, shake-shake-shake, drain and repeat one more time. 2 is probably enough, but I like 3. After the last draining, blow in the top a couple times, put it on a paper towel, let time take its course. 24 hours later, I just refill and re-use. I do this with my MT3's, T4's, and CE4's. Also, on the T4's I do this every 2 tanks, all others, every tank. Yes, I do have back-ups, and some back-ups for them......

I use rubbing alcohol. Then 2 rinse cycles in a cup of scalding water. 24 hours later I attach the lower part to a battery and fire it up and blow off the ash. Rebuilding a CE4 is an awful lot of work for a pretty dissapointing vape, but I have to make due until I hit dry land and get my protank IIs.

You should try the CE4+, its rebuildable so you can easily change just the coil when needed. The CE5+ and CE6+ are the same way.
