cleaning clearomizers

i have some knock off kanger clearomizers i bought from a local shop, and some flavors i've gotten really tired of/they now disgust me. i was also sick this past week, so i need to clean them. i know once you take the mouthpiece off and the unscrew the wick (which if changing flavors will be replaced). those are the only pieces, i'm pretty sure, that detach. im planning on just soaking them in alcohol, washing them off, and reassembling them. could this damage the coils and make them inoperable?

i know some people that clean things objects by using epsom salt and alcohol in a ziplock bag. would this method also work? besides germs, i really want to get a certain flavor out of the tank.

while im on the subject and posting, anyone know of a good quality vendor that sells cheap tanks and wicks? i'm looking to expand some flavors as well. i seem to get tired of my all day vape flavor about every three weeks. can depend on the weather too

I've just used warm water, and even re-used the heads/wicks/bases when changing flavors. Some say only if you had menthol that it would be hard to get rid of the taste for changing flavors, but so far thats only been the case using cartos, not the wicks on clearos though... for me anyways...
