Did an experiment with my clearomizer. cleaning it with water and dry burning it - works great! Cleaning with vinegar- not good at all. cleaning with coke - good but now the coil heats up to red much slowly. maybe due to too much dry burning but luckily i got a new clearomizer to fall back on. Anybody found a better way to clean it?

I've been using vodka. I doubt coke is a good idea, since it has sugar in it.
On a side note, I told my sister that, and she wanted to know if I use it because it cleans better or dries faster. I said "Nope - I like vodka..."

2nd the Vodka cleaning....although I should probably buy some cheaper stuff, my wife is going to kill me the next time she goes for the Absolute to make a Cosmo...
I always end up drinking the vodka and using plain hot water to clean my clearos.
Vodka. I rinse with vodka, then clean out with water, let it dry for 24 hours.
I had to repeat the process a few times to get a pina colada flavor out of one vivi, but other than that...no problems.

I just cleaned my first clearomizer the other night using water/syringe ... it's drying now but will do a dry burn when I get home later and see how it vapes. I have not had great luck cleaning out these or atomizers over the past couple of years and end up trashing them. Maybe I am not being patient enough. Will report back.
I take them apart, clean with hot water (as hot as I can stand)
put them back together, dry burn, & fill with juice.

What's everyone's opinion on hard tap water? I think I read somewhere that last thing you want is mineral deposits accumulating in the atomizers. I did get a gallon of distilled water but it's a bit hassle since I can't just faucet over that much water for one clearo cleaning.
I've almost been a week with my Kanger T2s and I've yet to dry burn anything yet. I need to clean one of them tonight so I think I'll try that tonight.
I'm still very much a fresh newbie but the way I clean mine is remove head unit, dunk the head/coil in Isopropyl Alcolhol for about an hour. The clearo tube I just squirt some distilled water half way, plug the open end with my finger and just shake-rinse it about 4-5 times. Try my best to wipe out any water inside then let em dry for about 5 hours. I think I'll try dry burning after I air dry it tonight.
Open to suggestions on how I can improve my method, if necessary.

I just use warm water and fill her up, give here a good shake, and dump. I do this 3-4 times and then a few dry burns until it stops producing vapor. I onoly let it sit for a few minutes after that.
I enjoy the Vodka method the best, however I haven't noticed any improvement as of yet. Perhaps if I sucked it through the Atomizer first, before I drank it would help ?
But actually, I soak my Atomizers in Vodka while in my ultrasonicic cleaner, then I drink my cleaning fluid ! That works good for me

I rinse with hot water then shake and blow out the water and dry burn fur a quick clean if I have the time I soak for 30 min to an hour in vodka orisopropyl alcohol and then air dry and dry burn both work good
True that tap water has the minerals and stuff but hen water is boiled, the minerals sinks to the bottom and what u use is water without minerals. I might be wrong. Anyway, when u dry burn, doesnt the residue evaporates together with the liquid? I used tap water and hot water with no problems but i prefer to use hot water, just to be safe. (Always have a spare carto or clearo as a spare, just in case it doesnt work out, you'll have something to fall back on....)
