I've looked around quite a bit and I still haven't seen an answer to this so I thought I'd start a new thread.
Is there any way to really clean a clogged carto? I know that some people talk about soaking in grain alcohol overnight to get rid of a previous flavor, and that people say to rinse them with warm water, blow out, repeat.. But I haven't seen anything about clogged cartos. Also, I have yet to figure out exactly what is causing this. At first I thought that I was simply overfilling them, but now I'm starting to realize that it has to be something else.
I have 6 carts that I just rinsed out, all 6 of which were filled using the Taryn spin method. Three of them are clogged, the other three are perfectly fine.
Can I boil the cartos like other people do theirs? I figured the answer would be "no" considering the fact that the atomizer is built in on the carto of the 808, but it's definitely worth a shot if it can extend the lifespan of my cartos.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
