Any one ever heard of soaking used coils in vodka, rinsing and reusing? So I accidentally dropped one of my kanger nickel coils for my subtank mini in the trash can. It fell to the bottom in some "trash juice." I know, sick! I wasn't sure how to clean it....so it made sense to me to soak it in vodka overnight and rinse, let dry and reuse. Any thoughts? Is there a better way to clean coils? I have heard people thinning their ejuice with vodka so I figured it wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Accidentally?

I know a few of my 1.5 coils have "accidentally" ended up in the trash after I got sick of their chronic flooding.

well you are adventurous!
I'd leave that right there.

I guess if I were desperate enough I'd pour scalding hot water over if for a while.

THEN put it to soak in vodka!

Yeah, cheap vodka, everclear, moonshine, all three are pure grain alcohol, not isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Clear and flavorless is all you need, but it needs to be PGA if you intend to vape off the coil again. Used to soak my protank heads in everclear, then rinse and let air dry 24hrs, but vodka works just as well.

Will Grey Goose work? Jk. What is PGA?

80 proof vodka wont disinfect the coil of the trash juice... now if you use Everclear, that would do it. I would do an isopropyl alcohol dip then the vodka dip just to be sure there isnt any salmonella on it dont need to have some news story going on how vaping causes food poisoning :)
