Just ran into a funky issue, I mainly use knucklehead adjustable drip tips (ones I have are from myfreedom smokes). There seems to be some liquid stuck in the socket, tried to clean it up with no luck. No matter what I vape if using it I get the taste of imitation honey, like the KFC packets. Any ideas on how to get rid of flavors that have leeched into plastic vape gear?

I imagine soaking. I toss my disassembled tanks in a water bowl and nuke. Rinse with soft water and air dry for 24 hours and haven't tasted anything. I do only use tanks that completely break down.

IMO anything that has penetrated the plastic is not going to smell much, but I've never experienced this. I just rinse my plastic drip tips in warm water in the sink when I feel the need. I can imagine that knuckle trapping some juice though. Our juices are almost all water soluble, so if I could not take the knuckle apart I would try rinsing well with flowing hot water and see if that would help get it out. If you can get something like a pipe cleaner in there, I would think that could help a lot.
I'm not sure there's anything to be done beyond soaking and rinsing. Boiling maybe? Might not be all that great for the plastic. If all else failed I'd switch to normal drip tips or an SS knucklehead. That way I could safely add the option of boiling.
Just pulled it out of the vodka soak, found that if I blew it out while moving the socket seemed to get most of the liquid out. Don't know why I didn't think of that sooner, but long story short it did the trick.
I also use those little alcohol "prep" pads to clean drip tips. I use a tool to get it in there and then spin the drip tip around it. Then rinse in hot water. Best price I found for the prep pad is Walmart. 100 for $1.00. I also use them to wipe the outside of tanks when I am filling.

Those would be good just to clean up leaks in my 'juice box' where I keep my filled tanks on the go. I get nervous about having juice possibly lingering on my hands when I'm around our dogs. I'll have to look for them next time I stop in Walmart
