Hello Bandu here,

Hey guys I have a question I have been vaping about a week, and I have heard mixed reviews about how to clean my atty, some people say to blow them, others to rinse them in hot water, others say to dry burn them. Well I have heard also that a Sonic jewelry cleaner also works very well. From all the ones above I have really only tried blowing them off and works pretty good, but what if I want to deep clean it? Will a sonic jewelry cleaner work best? And also wont it damage my atty in the long run? Or change its performance? Please give me your opinion in this, Im really thinking about getting one but I dont want to ruin my attys so soon and have to replace them so fast. Thanks in advanced

I've heard of mixed results from sonic cleaners, though I'd think they'd work better for atomizers than cartomizers. What might work best is to use a sonic cleaner in conjunction with a mildly acidic solution:

- Citrus juices (lemon or lime); citric acid will help dissolve the gunk.
- Carbonated beverages (soda water suggested); dissolved carbon dioxide in such drinks creates carbonic acid in solution (that's the "burn" when you swallow a fizzy drink).
- Vinegar; acetic acid will also help dissolve gunk.

Make sure to rinse well under hot water after cleaning.
