Hey guys!

So, I love cartomisers but I feel pretty bad throwing them out when they're not really usable anymore. I went over to cartos because I sucked at cleaning atomisers as they were never even close to the same after cleaning...zero throat hit! So my cleaning carto thing is partially because I'm a cheap-skate (my arms are 'too short to reach the bottom of my pockets' as my Grandmother would say as she used to about my Grandfather!), because it's not overly environmentally friendly (this is a cover-up for 'because I'm cheap'!) and because if the absolute worst happens with the FDA/EU, I wanna be prepared and recycle as much as possible!

I've seen a lot of videos about the boiling technique on Youtube but as I live in a shared house with shared kitchen stuff, this isn't necessarily a good idea for me. It's possible, but not necessarily the best thing for me. I was sent a link from a friend: E-Cig Carto Cleaning - Fast, Cheap and Easy - YouTube and this guy seems kinda cool!

Does anyone tried this method, or have any really good tips for cleaning and drying old cartos?x

I use to just dump my saved cartos in some hot water for awhile then blow them out, then soak them in 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol for a couple of days shaking them often. Then would rinse again with water blowing them all out again and then make sure to let them completely dry.In summer would be easy to dry just let them sit out in the 90-95 degree heat.

If u have never burn't your cartos this method will work well has for me.

Some carto brands are easy to clean........ others not.

Boge and Smoktek with the vertical coil darn near impossible. I personally use Kanger cartos. Horizontal coil. Filler is easy to remove with tweezers. Rinse out polyfill. Then do a few dry burns just like an atomizer. Blot dry polyfil and reinsert after wrapping it around a coffee stirrer (fits over the air tube perfectly).

I've been using the same 5 Kanger's for over 5 months. Still vaping like new after cleaning once a week.
