So I just got my brand new Riva 510 kit :) (though the instruction "manual" inside just says EGO on it, and never mentions the name Riva). Anyways...

It was supposed to come with 10 blank carts in the box (so I didn't order any), but when I went to open one up, it was clearly already filled. The box of carts says "atomized cartridges" and has a small sticker on the side that says Mlb Hig, which I'm assuming means full strength marlboro?

Anyways, my hopes were to start learning the filling process right away, with an assortment of juices that I picked up.

Can I clean these out fully? If so, how should I do so? Also, will they be the same as blanks in use, or are pre-filled carts totally different? I was going to try the HighPing easy method, and even have spare polyfill, but now that I look at the picture here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/70962-my-simple-cart-mod-4.html#post1064355, my pre-filled carts look a lot smaller than that (though it could just be the picture).

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I got the same thing as you. I was a bit confused when I opened the package. I just took the "sponge" out and used a cloth napkin to get the juice out-then refilled. Worked out just fine for me..

Thanks everyone!

I'm also glad I wasn't the only one. For a second I was worried I'd have to mail the box back and wait for a replacement; so I'm happy to hear it worked out ok for you!

With a good vendor, you'll never have to mail back a whole kit - just ask for them to replace or request spare parts. Speaking of spare parts, looks like you're all set EXCEPT for a spare charger. What are you going to do if your charger fries in the first week like mine did? Might want to order one of those, then you'll be a lot safer, just a suggestion since it happened to me.

I have a VK KR808 kit as well, that I received yesterday. I sort of intended them as a him and hers set. Once I learn a bit about how all this works, and can teach her the basics, she can pick which style she would prefer to use. I'll sort out spare parts as soon as I know she's committed to trying to quit using one, but until then, they're all mine ;)

There's also a 90 day warranty on the charger, from the seller, I believe, so I should be ok until then. They even posted that in the forums here, so I'd guess they stand by it.
