Cleaning overfilled 510 carto threads?

Hope you guys can help me on this. I was filling my 510 carto with some Boba's. I stick on the condom, and proceed to drip and taryn spin til full, but the condom didn't plug the hole completely, so some juice that got into the center wick tube got through the plug. So I am trying to clean off the threads and connector, but there is a recessed ring between the two I just can't get into with paper towels or cotton swabs. Any advice?

Here is a pic for to demonstrate what I am talking about. The circle on the far left is a literally a pool of juice, and the rest are just spots on the walls of the "cavern."

When I need to clean in small areas like that on my 510, I use Kleenex. I wade up a little of it at a corner of the tissue and stick it in till it starts bunching up. Then carefully I use a tooth pick to run it around.

I just wash my cartos with hot water. Just load the syringe with some hot water and with the needle on, squish the water in the screw end of the carto. That usually works too.

That would work with an empty carto, but I am trying to clean it AND preserve the juice in it, as this is post refill. Thanks anyway.

Just take a small paper clip or a needle and wrap it around a tissue and proceed to wipe that spot clean. You really don't have to clean it but, this is a good way to do it.

I break down the fibers of a wooden toothpick and use it like a very small brush. Perhaps a small artist paint brush would do the trick as well.
