Cleaning overview?

I'm sure it's on here somewhere but I've been searching for 20 minutes and coming up with nothing.

I've got a bunch of gear that just needs a good cleaning. Vivi nova heads, tanks, DCT tanks, caps, cartos, etc. Is there something I can do to clean all of it at once? And what's the best method? Can I just dump all this in a pot and boil it, will that work? Or should I soak in isopropyl alcohol?

I'm tearing apart the vivi nova, soak it in alcohol, rinse in hot water, dry burn and put it together.
