I use Everclear for Protank and Aspire atomizers. I really have had some bad stained residue built up from using certain e liquids ( Creme Brulee, Vanilla, ect ).
I put 2 or 3 atomizers at a time in a shot glass and fill it up with Everclear and let them sit for a few hours. I then rinse them in hot water...clean out the shot glass that's filled with Everclear. Then I throw the atomizers back in the shot glass with hot water and let them soak overnite .
It's amazing watching the wicks on the Protank going from a dark brown to white again.
Note: ( I remove the grommet on the Protank before putting atomizers in Everclear ).
